Condition Updates for Two Injured in Separate July 7th Collisions

At last check this morning (July 17th) the 27 year old male motorcyclist injured in a collision with two cars around 8:40pm Friday, July 7th on Middle Road, Warwick near the junction with Tamarind Vale had been discharged, after initially receiving treatment in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
At last check this morning (July 17th) the 36 year old female car driver injured in a Harrington Sound Road, Hamilton parish car crash around 5:45pm Friday, July 7th remained in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

The Bermuda Police Service is aware that a concert is scheduled to take place at Bermuda Athletic Association (BAA) on Woodlands Road in Pembroke this Saturday (July 15th).
Members of the public can expect to see an increased police presence in the surrounding area, with officers using lawful powers of search as appropriate and also assisting with traffic management.

Enquiries Underway: Two Anti-Social Conduct Videos Circulating

The Bermuda Police Service is aware that there are currently two videos circulating via social media showing anti-social conduct and what appear to be crimes of violence.
Detectives are working to identify the subjects involved and encourage the public’s assistance in coming forward to identify those involved and providing any other information that can assist them in the investigation.

At last check this morning (July 11th) the 24 year old male rider injured around 4:55am Saturday, July 8th in a two motorcycle collision on Parsons Lane in Devonshire had been transferred from the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit to a general ward in stable condition.

At last check this morning (July 10th) the 24 year old male motorcyclist injured around 4:55am Saturday, July 8th on Parsons Lane in Devonshire remained in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit – while the 32 year old motorcyclist injured in the same collision had been transferred from the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit to a general ward in stable condition.
Firearms Search Warrant Executed in Friswells Hill, Pembroke Area

On Saturday, July 1st armed police officers executed a search warrant under the Firearms Act in the Friswells Hill, Pembroke area where a teenaged male was arrested without incident in connection with an ongoing police investigation.
The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank area residents for their cooperation while officers carried out the operation and encourage anyone with information regarding the location of illegal firearms to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1739 or the independent and anonymous Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.
Motorcyclist & Pedestrian Injured in St. David’s Road Collision

Around 10pm Tuesday, June 27th police and first responders were dispatched to a reported collision on St. David’s Road in St. George’s near the junction with Stocks Road, involving a motorcyclist and a pedestrian.
The 52 year old male rider and the 38 year old male pedestrian were injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.
Both men are believed to be from St. George’s.
Reported Missing Person Shania Haller Located

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 20 year old Shania Haller.
Ms. Haller returned to her Sandys parish residence this morning (June 27th) safe and well.
Witness Appeal: Confirmed Firearm Incident Khyber Pass, Warwick

Detectives continue to appeal for information regarding the confirmed firearm incident that took place early Sunday morning in the Khyber Pass, Warwick area.
In particular, area residents that might have been disturbed by a party that was going on in the Jones Village area just before the non-injury shooting occurred as well as area residents that might have been awake around the time the shots were fired, are asked to contact the investigative team.
