Harbour Road Collision Victim’s Condition Improves

At last check around 6:15am Wednesday, April 29th the 62 year old Warwick man injured when the motorcycle he was riding apparently collided with a wall on Harbour Road in Paget near the junction with Chapel Road around 1am Sunday, April 26th continues his recovery and was in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital.

The Central Community Action Team (CCAT) will be holding a ‘Meet Your CAT Officers’ – Police Community Clinic from 12 noon until 4pm on Saturday, 2nd May 2015 at the Rural Hill Plaza (Ice Queen) in Paget.

At the event area residents will have the opportunity to meet their Community Action Team officer(s), discuss any concerns they may have about ongoing anti-social or criminal activity in their neighbourhoods and receive Neighbourhood Watch Group information as well as crime prevention advice and pamphlets.

Injured Motorcyclist Remains in ICU, Now in Stable Condition

At last check around 6:55am Monday, April 27th the 62 year old Warwick man injured when the motorcycle he was riding apparently collided with a wall on Harbour Road in Paget near the junction with Chapel Road around 1am Sunday, April 26th was in stable condition at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

Inquiries continue and witnesses, particularly anyone who may have been in the Harbour Road, Paget area between Chapel Road and Manse Road around 1am Sunday, should contact the investigating officer Constable Oba Swan on the main police telephone number 295-0011.

Smith’s Parish Assault Victim Recovering, Suspect Remains in Custody

At last check the 54 year old Smith’s parish man injured during an assault that occurred around 10:30am Thursday, April 23rd on Cloverdale Road in Smith’s parish was recovering in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital while the suspect, a 58 year old man arrested shortly afterwards, remained in police custody.

Man Injured After Reported Assault in Smith’s Parish [Update]

Around 10:30am on Thursday, April 23rd first responders attended an incident that took place on Cloverdale Road in Smith’s parish, adjacent to the Apothecary.

Upon police arrival it was ascertained that an assault took place between two men.

Twelve New Constables Join Bermuda Reserve Police

The Bermuda Police Service is pleased to announce that twelve new Constables joined the Bermuda Reserve Police at a 7pm Passing Out Ceremony held Thursday, April 16th in the Police Recreation Club hall, Prospect Devonshire.

The new Reserve officers completed a 13 week training course, held two evenings a week for three hours each, consisting of various core competencies.

Condition Update: Two Vehicle Collision in Pembroke Saturday

At last check this morning (Thursday, April 16th) the 23 year old male livery cycle rider injured in a collision with a motorcyclist that occurred around 5:13pm Saturday, April 11th along St. John’s Road Pembroke, in the vicinity of Cox’s Hill and Mount View Road, is now recovering in stable condition on a general ward.

The motorcyclist involved, a 43 year old Devonshire man, had already been moved to a general ward on Tuesday.

Police Motorcyclists Collide During Training Exercise on Frog Lane [Update]

Chief Inspector Hashim Estwick – Around 10:30am Wednesday, April 15th first responders were dispatched to a collision along Frog Lane in Devonshire involving two of our police colleagues, both riding motorcycles.

Both male officers involved have been taken to the hospital for assessment of their injuries.

Monday Night Collision Victims Treated & Discharged From Hospital

The 20 year old St. George’s man injured when the auxiliary cycle he was riding collided with a police vehicle at the junction of Front Street and Court Street in Pembroke around 9:14pm Monday, April 13th was treated at the hospital for non-life threatening injuries and later discharged.

Similarly, the 56 year old Southampton man injured when the motorcycle he was riding apparently collided with a traffic cone on South Road in Devonshire in the vicinity of the Botanical Gardens around 10:12pm Monday, April 13th was treated at the hospital for non-life threatening injuries and later discharged.
