At last check 7:40am today, Friday June 19th the 50 year old Sandys parish man being treated for lacerations to the neck remained at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit in stable condition.
The two men arrested in connection with the incident, which occurred around 10:25am Thursday, June 18th in Sandys parish, are still in police custody pending further inquiries.
Police responded to a report of an incident that took place at 10:25am today, Thursday, June 18th in Sandys parish. Details are sketchy but it was reported that a man appeared on Somerset Road in Sandys parish in the vicinity of Four Star Pizza with lacerations to his neck. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of apparently life threatening injuries and an investigation has commenced.
The investigation into the fatal collision that claimed the life of 81 year old Leon Smith continues.
Mr. Smith was critically injured around 1:50pm Monday, June 1st when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a truck at the junction of Cavendish Road and Lane Hill in Pembroke.
At last check today, Tuesday June 16th the 54 year old man stabbed around 7pm Saturday, June 13th on Church Street in the City of Hamilton in the area of City Hall remained in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital. The 30 year old suspect appeared in Magistrates’ Court this morning.
At last check the 22 year old Paget man injured when the motorcycle he was riding collided with the curb around 7:55am Saturday, June 13th on Malabar Road in Sandys parish just west of Watford Bridge, was apparently recovering in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital.

Around 11:40am on Thursday, June 11th first responders attended a reported two vehicle collision at the junction of Victoria Street and Court Street in Pembroke, near the Hamilton Police Station, involving a car and a motorcycle.
It appears that the female motorcyclist involved was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of apparently minor injuries and later released.
Detectives are currently investigating a reported robbery that occurred along the Railway Trail in Sandys parish between Somerset Bridge and Sound View Road Wednesday afternoon.
It appears that around 1:30pm Wednesday, June 10th a visiting couple was walking along a section of the Railway Trail, in the vicinity of the Heydon Trust property, when they were accosted by an unknown male apparently brandishing a hammer.
Detectives are currently investigating a reported burglary that occurred at the Port Royal Esso gas station on Middle Road in Southampton early Wednesday morning.
It appears that around 1:20am Wednesday, June 10th a lone intruder – described as a dark complexioned male wearing white and black shoes, black pants, a blue shirt and a black helmet – gained entry into the premises and stole an undisclosed amount of cash in a charity container before fleeing on a dark coloured motorcycle, apparently heading east on Middle Road.
Around 12:10am on Tuesday, June 9th police received a report of a robbery.
It appears that around 11:50pm Monday, June 8th a taxi driver was flagged down by an unknown male on South Road in Southampton, near the junction with Horseshoe Road.
As the taxi stopped in the bus turn around area, the vehicle was apparently approached by three other males, two brandishing blunt objects and one brandishing a bladed article.
Around 1:30am on Monday, June 8th first responders were dispatched to a reported collision on Somerset Road in Sandys parish, apparently near the junction with Scott’s Hill Road.
Details remain limited; however it appears that a car was being driven out of Somerset when the collision occurred.
