Single Vehicle Car Crash in Warwick Saturday Night

Around 11:20pm Saturday, February 3rd police and first responders attended a reported single vehicle car crash on South Road in Warwick, near the junction with Camp Road.

It appears that the car involved struck a bus stop shelter. The driver, believed to be a 39 year old Sandys parish man, apparently sustained minor injuries.

He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance, treated and discharged. There were no other injuries reported.

Second Man Arrested: City of Hamilton Bus Terminal Altercation

At last check earlier this morning (February 1st) the 18 year old man injured during an altercation that occurred at the City of Hamilton bus terminal around 11:30am Monday, January 29th had been discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment on a general ward. He was then arrested in connection with the incident.

A 20 year old man also hurt in the same incident was initially arrested after being treated and discharged from the hospital sometime later on Monday.

Renewed Scam Advisory: Deceptive ‘Computer Assistance’ Calls

Once again the Bermuda Police Service (BPS) would like to remind members of the public to remain vigilant regarding phone calls, e-mails and other correspondence from unknown persons that attempt to obtain personal information or other sensitive data.

The BPS Organised and Economic Crime Department (OECD) has yet again received reports from local residents of telephone calls from unknown persons claiming to represent ‘Microsoft Windows.’

Ongoing Witness Appeal: City of Hamilton Bus Terminal Altercation

Detectives continue to appeal for witnesses to an altercation involving two men that occurred at the City of Hamilton bus terminal around 11:30am Monday, January 29th.

Both men were injured and at last check this morning (January 30th) one of the combatants, an 18 year old man, was recovering in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital while the other, a 20 year old man, had been treated at the hospital, discharged and arrested in connection with the incident.

Driver Arrested, Two Injured After Front Street Collision

Around 1:10am today (Monday, January 29th) police and first responders were dispatched to a reported collision on Front Street in the City of Hamilton, near the junction with Parliament Street.

It appears that a car collided with a 41 year old Southampton man sat on a parked motorcycle and a 27 year old Sandys parish woman standing nearby.

Three Arrested in Connection With Reported Warwick Disturbance

Around 9:10pm Thursday, January 25th police officers responded to a reported disturbance in the Scott’s Lane South, Warwick area off Khyber Heights Road.

It appears that the disturbance took place outside an area residence.

Apparently the individuals involved immediately fled on foot towards Astwood Park.

Witness Appeal: Teenager Stabbed in Warwick [Updated]

Police are appealing for witnesses after the reported stabbing of an 18 year old man, which apparently occurred in the Ord Road, Cherry Lane Warwick area around 12:10am today (January 25th).

The injured teenager is currently being treated at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for wounds that are believed to be serious and an update on his condition will be provided in due course.

Reported Stolen Car Recovered

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating a grey Peugeot 307 car bearing license plate 47913, reported stolen almost two weeks ago (Monday, January 8th) from the parking lot of Serpentine Liquors in Pembroke.

The vehicle was subsequently recovered by police in The Glebe Road, Pembroke area Thursday afternoon (January 18th) and impounded as inquiries continue.

Renewed Appeal Regarding Dead Dog Found at Admiralty House Park

The Bermuda Police Service continues to seek the public’s assistance regarding any information they may have on the dog that was found dead in the water near Admiralty House Park, Pembroke this past weekend.

Detectives continue to follow all potential leads but so far, the identity of the dog’s owner is still unknown.

Driver of Overturned Car & Pedestrian Discharged From Hospital

At last check earlier this morning (January 15th) a 71 year old Southampton woman (car driver) and a 28 year old Warwick woman (pedestrian) had been medically assessed at the hospital and discharged after being involved in an incident that occurred around 8:45pm Friday, January 12th where a car driven by the female senior citizen along South Road, Southampton near Henry VIII Restaurant overturned after crashing into two parked cars.
