At last check this morning (October 24th) the 43 year old man, said to be a Paget resident, seriously injured when he was stabbed by two men on Harbour Road in Paget near the junction with Valley Road around 2:53am Tuesday, October 23rd remained listed in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
The Bermuda Police Service is continuing investigations into this attempted robbery and serious assault and take this opportunity to thank those persons who have already made contact with police.

The investigation regarding this incident continues and any witnesses – specifically anyone that may have seen two men on a motorcycle (with the lights off), traveling from Dockyard following another male on a motorcycle between 2am and 2:55am Tuesday – or anyone with any relevant information is urged to contact Sergeant Jason Smith at the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1218 or on his cellphone 717-0864.
At last check this morning (October 22nd) the 18 year old male rider injured in a collision with a car at the junction of South Road and Warwick Lane in Warwick around 10:15pm Friday, October 19th was recovering in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital.
Inquiries continue and any witnesses are now asked to call Constable James Williams on the main police telephone number 295-0011.
Around 1:50pm Tuesday, October 16th police and fellow first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision on Middle Road in Warwick, near the junction with Spring Hill.
It appears that a taxi and a car were being driven in opposite directions along Middle Road when the vehicles collided, damaging both vehicles.
The Bermuda Police Service would like to advise the public that the next series of road sobriety checkpoints (as specified in the Official Gazette Notice Wednesday, October 10th) will be conducted this weekend.
The checkpoints will be in effect in Pembroke, Devonshire and Paget parishes on Friday, October 19th, Saturday, October 20th and Sunday, October 21st.

Tuesday night’s shooting on Friswells Road is believed to be gang related. However, detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding that incident.

The investigation regarding a confirmed firearm incident that occurred around 10:40pm Tuesday, October 2nd in the Friswells Road, North Terrace Pembroke area continues.
Although several shots were fired, there were no reported injuries and the scene has been processed by the relevant police personnel.
However, the gunfire did cause damage to a car as well as some property damage.
