Burglary - Around 3pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Park View Lane, Devonshire residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 12:30pm and 2:50pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a 50” Panasonic flat screen TV and a Dell laptop computer. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Additionally, we urge those traveling in cars to use their seatbelts at all times and make sure any children traveling in the vehicle are appropriately restrained. Road Victim Identified - The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank those members of the public who have come forward regarding the fatal road traffic collision that occurred around 1:15am Saturday on North Shore Road in Devonshire near the Mid Atlantic Boat Club involving a car and a pedestrian.
The victim has now been identified as a 41 year old Southampton man. No further information will be released at this time until his next of kin have been notified.
Burglary - Around 7:40pm on Thursday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Barrack Hill, St. George’s residence. It appears that sometime between 8:30am and 7:40pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a Nintendo Wii video game system and two Wii games. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Damage Only RTC - Around 9:45am on Wednesday, Police attended a reported damage only road traffic collision at the junction of Middle Road and Granaway Heights Road in Southampton involving two cars. It appears that one car was traveling west on Middle Road and the other car was exiting Granaway Heights Road when the vehicles collided. The drivers of the cars, a 38 year old Sandys parish woman and a 42 year old Sandys parish man respectively, were not injured. Both cars received extensive front end damage.
Town Hall Meeting for the Western Parishes - A town hall meeting for western parish residents will take place at Port Royal Primary School on Thursday, April 15th starting at 7pm.
Residents of Warwick, Southampton & Sandys parish are invited to attend this forum to discuss the state of affairs in the area for the past six months and to hear the attending Police officers present the policing initiatives for the next six months. Representing the Bermuda Police Service at Thursday’s meeting will be Western Area Commander Chief Inspector Tyrone Smith & officers from the Western Community Action Team.

Burglary - At 4:15am today, Police received a report of a burglary at a Harbour Road, Warwick residence. It appears that sometime overnight an unknown culprit gained entry into the home. The culprit stole a brown purse containing a digital camera, a quantity of cash and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Robbery - Around 3:20am today, Police on mobile patrol in the City of Hamilton received a report of a robbery on Front Street. It appears that around 3:10am the complainants, a 25 year old Paget man and a 24 year old UK woman, were sitting on a bench across from the Emporium Building when they were accosted by two unknown men, one brandishing a bladed article. The culprits took the female visitor’s handbag and made good their escape on foot before leaving the scene in a car. The complainants received minor injuries.
Marine Advisory - The Bermuda Police Service Marine Unit would like to remind the public as of April 1st all boats (including jet skis, punts and kayaks) should be re-registered with the Department of Marine and Port Services and the blue 2010 registration decals once issued should be displayed on the starboard (right) side of the vessel as close as possible to the registration numbers. Moorings also need to be re-registered and the blue 2010 mooring decals should also be fitted to the mooring buoy.
