At 5:45pm on Monday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Sunset Close, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 9am and 5:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her apartment while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Handbag Snatch

Around 9pm on Sunday, Police received a report of a handbag snatch. The victim, a 32 year old Smiths parish woman, stated that at 8:55pm she and her husband were walking east along Pitts Bay Road in Pembroke near the BF&M building when an unknown man walking along Woodbourne Avenue approached them.

Sudden Death

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 44 year old Bryant Tucker who succumbed to his injuries Saturday at 4pm. This is as a result of a medical emergency that took place at Darrells Island Wednesday morning at 8:20am. It appears that Bryant Tucker was found in a non-responsive state after collapsing on the island. This resulted in the 44 year old man being taken via Police boat to Barrs Bay Park where he was conveyed via ambulance to KEMH. He remained in ICU in critical condition until his death on Saturday.

Death of Man on Ladder

Police can now confirm the death of 42 year old Arthur Trott of Leacraft Hill in Southampton who died as a result of injuries sustained in an industrial accident. First responders attended a residence on Pieces of Eight Lane in St. Georges at 3:43pm Friday afternoon on a report of an industrial accident. It appears the victim was working on a section of a residence that is under renovation when he apparently fell off a ladder and hit his head. He was treated at the scene and rushed to the hospital, where he was placed in ICU; however, Mr.

Breaking & Entering

Police responded to a report of breaking and entering that took place yesterday at Two Way Mews. It appears that the complainants left their apartment secured at 9am yesterday and when they returned home at 6:30pm they noticed that someone had made an untidy search of their dwelling and stole a Motorola V3 cell phone and a Play Station 2. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.

Police responded to a report of a medical emergency that took place at Darrells Island this morning at 8:20am.It appears that a 44 year old man was found in a non-responsive state.This resulted in the 44 year old man being taken via Police boat to Barrs Bay Park where he was then taken via ambulance to KEMH. I, the Commissioner of Police, am concerned and disturbed with a news report that was aired by Defontes Broadcasting group of stations on November18th and 19th, 2007. The report quotes a clandestine, unnamed Police source who states that the Auditor General Larry Dennis was targeted by Police because he (Larry Dennis) is a director of Hardell Communications (paraphrased) a company affiliated with Harold Darrell.
