At 3:14am on Tuesday June 28th police and other first responders attended a report of a road traffic collision that took place on Middle Road in Southampton near Jews Bay. It appears that the driver, a 33 year old man was travelling in an easterly direction in a car with two passengers when it appears that he lost control of his vehicle resulting in the car spinning off of the road way and ejecting the two passengers out of the vehicle.
The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 38-year-old Tokia Anthony Russell, who died as a result of injuries received in a collision that took place around 2:50am Wednesday 22nd June, along Middle Road, Paget between Berwyn Hill and Bostock Hill West. Mr. Russell was pronounced dead at the scene by an on call physician.

Around 1:20pm on Tuesday, June 21st police and first responders were dispatched to a reported assault that took place in a staff only area off Whaler Inn Beach in Southampton.
It appears that two men assaulted a 19 year old male Fairmont Southampton Resort employee with a bladed article.
The victim was taken to hospital via ambulance for treatment of facial injuries. However his condition is unknown at this time.
A condition update will be given when available.
The Bermuda Police Service extends condolences to the family and friends of 30 year old Fiqre Crockwell, who was shot in the Woodlands Road, Pembroke area around 2:55am Monday June 20th and later succumbed to his injuries at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Crockwell’s death marks the second gun murder of 2016. A Family Liaison Officer has been assigned to assist the Crockwell family at this difficult time.

The Bermuda Police Service responded to a report of an incident that took place in the early hours of Sunday morning in Warwick, that resulted in a 28 year old man being taken to the hospital with stab wounds to his abdomen. Details now are emerging that suggest the incident took place at Warwick Camp in the Royal Bermuda Regiment’s Corporal’s Mess. The 28 year old man is presently in the hospital’s ICU where he is listed in serious condition.
25-year-old Rayshun Edwards, who was wanted by police in connection with an incident that occurred on Lovers Lane Paget on 8th June, has been arrested and is presently in police custody.
The Bermuda Police Service wishes to thank the public for their assistance in locating Mr Edwards.
At last check, the 21-year-old male who was shot in the Middle Town Pembroke area yesterday [8-Jun], has been admitted into the ICU at King Edward Memorial Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
Police are particularly keen to speak with anyone who saw a man riding a white bike, likely to be a Sym model that may have had a red insignia on the muffler. Anyone who may have information regarding this incident should call the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1285 or the confidential Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477.
The 25-year-old male rider involved in the collision yesterday [5-May] on Somerset Road near the junction with Cambridge Road Sandys, has been admitted into a general ward at King Edward Memorial Hospital, where he is being treated for serious leg injuries. His 22-year-old passenger was treated for injuries to his hand and subsequently released from hospital.
The Bermuda Police Service continues to appeal for witnesses who may have seen this collision to call 295-0011.
First responders attended a report of a road traffic collision that took place at the junction of Somerset Road and Cambridge Road at 6:20pm on Tuesday.
It appears that a taxi was traveling west on Main Road and was turning onto Cambridge Road when the motorcycle that was traveling east collided with the taxi.
Around 4:20pm this afternoon [30-May] police and first responders were dispatched to a two vehicle road traffic collision along Middle Road Southampton adjacent to Five Star Island.
Details are limited, however it appears that a male visitor on the Anthem of the Seas was travelling east on cycle when he was involved in a collision with a van travelling in the opposite direction.
