Around 1:30pm on Thursday, February 9th police officers attended a reported three vehicle damage only collision on Washington Street South in the City of Hamilton involving a bus and two vans.
It appears that a bus parked at the Pembroke terminal rolled back and struck a parked van, pushing that vehicle into a second parked van.
There were no reported injuries, as all three vehicles were unoccupied at the time.
Two male suspects have been arrested in connection with the reported stabbing of an 18 year old Pembroke man along The Glebe Road in Pembroke around 5:30pm Tuesday, February 7th.
A court appearance is anticipated in due course.
Around 5:30pm on Tuesday, February 7th police and first responders were dispatched to a reported assault.
It appears that an 18 year old Pembroke man walking along The Glebe Road in Pembroke was stabbed by two other young men in what initial information suggests may be a gang related incident.
The teenager was treated at the hospital for his injuries and later discharged.
At last check earlier today (Tuesday, February 7th) the 61 year old American woman injured around 12:30pm Sunday, February 5th when the rental cycle she was riding collided with a car along South Road in Paget, near the junction with Southcote Road remained in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
It has since been confirmed that the 15 year old American male pillion passenger involved was treated for a foot injury at the hospital and discharged.
The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 48 year old Ian Mackie and extends condolences to his family and friends.
Mr. Mackie was discovered in an unresponsive state inside a Longford Road, Warwick residence around 2:30pm Sunday, February 5th.
Despite life saving efforts at the scene which continued as he was transported via ambulance to hospital, he was pronounced dead at 3:04pm that day.
The Bermuda Police Service is currently investigating the circumstances of a reported aggravated burglary at a Highwood Lane, Paget residence on Monday, January 30th.
A suspect has been arrested in connection with the matter and enquiries continue.
The investigation continues regarding the circumstances of the single vehicle fatal motorcycle crash that claimed the life of 62 year old Mr. Terry Simmons.
Officers are pursuing all available lines of enquiry to assist in determining what happened around 12:40am last Thursday on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Radnor Road.
At last check earlier today (Monday, January 23rd) the 37 year old Paget man seriously injured in a reported single vehicle motorcycle crash on Harrington Sound Road in Smith’s parish, near the junction with Broken Hill Road around 7:40pm Thursday, January 19th remained in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

Members of the public are advised that commencing this weekend (Saturday 21st January), Bermuda Waterworks Limited will be carrying out emergency repair work to their water main on Harbour Road.
To facilitate the repairs it is anticipated that a section of Harbour Road, between Pomander Road and Lovers Lane, will be closed to all vehicles and pedestrians during the weekend for the next five weeks.
