Around 2:30pm on Tuesday, October 29th police officers responded to a reported armed burglary at a Middle Road, Southampton residence.
It appears that two unknown men gained entry into the home. One of the suspects brandished what appeared to be a firearm, while the other apparently brandished a bladed article.
Around 7pm on Sunday, October 27th police and first responders attended a reported two vehicle collision at the junction of Middle Road and Longford Road in Warwick.
It appears that a car was being driven along Middle Road and a motorcycle was being ridden along the same road when the vehicles collided at the junction.
The 18 year old Pembroke man seriously injured during a reported assault that occurred around 5:45pm Wednesday, October 23rd in The Glebe Road, St. Monica’s Road Pembroke area has since been flown overseas for further medical treatment.
The 34 year old Pembroke man arrested in connection with the incident was subsequently released on police bail pending further inquiries.
Inquiries are ongoing into the reported assault of an 18 year old Pembroke man in The Glebe Road, St. Monica’s Road Pembroke area around 5:45pm Wednesday, October 23rd. At last check, the victim was in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
Apparently the injured teenager attended the area with other young people to participate in anti-social behaviour organised through social media. As a result police are appealing to those involved not to retaliate or escalate their anti-social behaviour.
The Bermuda Police Service is appealing for the public’s assistance in locating 82 year old John Albert Rogers.
Mr. Rogers, also known as ‘Johnny’ is described as tall, dark complexioned with greying hair. The Sandys parish resident was last seen at his Cochrane Road home around 5pm Monday, October 21st wearing royal blue coloured Bermuda shorts, a blue & white coloured checkered button up shirt and a blue coloured cap.
Over the weekend, police officers arrested two people on suspicion of impaired driving as the Selective Traffic Enforcement Programme (STEP) continues.
Officers also arrested nine people for outstanding warrants and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
Two men have been arrested in connection with recent reported burglaries and are due to appear in court in due course.
Reported Missing Juvenile Daquan Williams Located
The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 17 year old Daquan Williams. He has since returned safe and well.
A 46 year old Devonshire woman was treated for shock at the hospital and subsequently released following the explosion at an Ariel Sands, Devonshire residence around 6:25pm Wednesday, October 16th. A 63 year old Devonshire man who was also in the vicinity of the Dill Lane property at the time of the explosion was not injured and did not require hospital treatment. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.
At last check the 8 year old St. George’s girl injured as a pedestrian by a car on St. David’s Road in St. George’s around 8am Tuesday, October 15th was recovering on the children's ward at the hospital. Inquiries into this collision are ongoing and any additional witnesses are encouraged to contact PC Jonathan Talbot on 293-2222.
Around 8am on Tuesday, October 15th police and first responders attended a reported collision on St. David’s Road in St. George’s near the junction with Bay Estates Road. It appears that a car collided with an 8 year old female pedestrian. The injured girl was subsequently taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment; however her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
