Around 7:55am on Wednesday, November 12th first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision on South Road in Paget, apparently between White Sands Road and Mission Road.
It appears that a car and a van collided while being driven in morning traffic along South Road. The van driver, a 47 year old Paget woman, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for medical assessment as a precaution. She was later discharged.
At last check the 38 year old male injured around 3:10am Saturday, November 8th on Union Street in Pembroke was in stable condition at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
Initial information suggests that the hospitalised man was injured during an altercation with another man. A 57 year old Bermudian man has been arrested in connection with this matter and remains in police custody. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.
Inquiries regarding the serious single vehicle motorcycle collision that occurred around 7:10pm Saturday, November 1st on Middle Road in Southampton near the junction with Lighthouse Road continue.
At last check the injured rider, a 23 year old Smith’s parish man, was in stable condition at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
30 year old Patrick Newton Stamp appeared in Magistrates’ Court today facing charges regarding the premeditated murder of 20 year old Malcolm Augustus that took place on December 24th 2012 in St. George’s.
Stamp, who is jointly charged with Wolde Gardner, was remanded in custody to reappear at a later date. See a previous report regarding Stamp's extradition proceedings in the UK.
Around 7:35pm on Monday, November 3rd first responders were dispatched to a reported single vehicle motorcycle collision on Harbour Road in Warwick near the junction with Keith Hall Road.
It appears that a motorcyclist riding along Harbour Road was injured after colliding with a wall. The 45 year old St. George’s man was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. At last check he was recovering in stable condition on a general ward.
At last check the 23 year old Smith’s parish man injured in a reported serious single vehicle motorcycle collision on Middle Road in Southampton near the junction with Lighthouse Road around 7:10pm Saturday, November 1st was in critical condition at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
Inquiries regarding this collision are ongoing and any witnesses that have not yet come forward should contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.
Around 8:30pm on Wednesday, October 29th police received a report of a suspected impaired driver traveling along South Road in Paget.
Officers responded to the report and subsequently located a car being driven in an erratic manner near the Elbow Beach hotel.
The car was eventually caused to stop and the driver, a 75 year old Pembroke man, spoken to.
There are several vehicles presently in the Police Impound at Police Headquarters in Prospect, Devonshire. The available details of each vehicle will be advertised in the local media as well as online starting today, to facilitate collection by the rightful owners.

Around 6:30pm on Sunday, October 26th first responders were dispatched to a reported single vehicle motorcycle collision on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Radnor Road.
It appears that a motorcyclist was riding along North Shore Road when he collided with the curb. The 40 year old Pembroke man was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of a leg injury.
