At 4:35pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Radnor Road involving a truck and a car.
Around 5:10pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Somerset Road in Sandy's parish, near the junction with Beacon Hill Road involving a van and a pedestrian.
At 7:40pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported assault on a Police officer at a Rocky Lane, Hamilton parish residence. The injured officer stated that he was at the home attending to another matter when the complainant (resident) pointed out a group of young men that had been throwing rocks at his windows prior to the officer's arrival.
At 12:30 this morning, Police received a report of a burglary at a Cherry Hill, Pembroke residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 8:30pm and 10pm on Monday, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home. The culprit stole $650 in cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Theft
At 10pm on Sunday, Police attended KEMH after a report of a robbery. On arrival officers spoke with the victim, a 35 year old Pembroke man, who works for Four Star Pizza. He stated that around 9:20pm he delivered a pizza to a My Lord's Bay Drive, Hamilton parish residence.
At 6:30pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Deepdale Road West in Pembroke. It appears that a jeep was traveling north on Deepdale Road West. The victim, an 8 year old Pembroke boy, was sitting on a wall on Deepdale Road West when he apparently fell off the wall into the road and the path of the jeep.
At 1:40 this morning, Police attended a report of a theft at Bernard's Park in Pembroke. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who rented out several tents for use during the Bermuda Day festivities. He stated that around 11:30pm on Wednesday his employees were at the park disassembling the tents, when they discovered one tent missing.
The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm that the body that washed ashore on the beach of a Southampton guest property around 12:05pm on Monday is that of 48 year old Deborah Santucci-Smith of Southampton. The body was identified by next of kin. The Bermuda Police Service extends its sincere condolences to the family & friends of the deceased.
Injury RTC
Around 6:20 this morning, Police received a report of a burglary at Bo's Lawn Equipment on Middle Road in Warwick. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between Saturday May 20 and earlier on Monday, May 22 an unknown culprit gained entry into the store. The culprit stole approximately $100 in cash and around 40 - 60 cartons of Marlboro Light cigarettes.
At 4:40pm on Thursday, Police received a report of a robbery. The victim, a 22 year old Smith's parish man, stated that sometime between midnight and 2am on Saturday, May 13, 2006 he was walking through Chancery Lane in the City of Hamilton when he was approached by an unknown man who asked for money.
