Flight Diversion - At approximately 9:05pm on Sunday, March 31st first responders attended L.F. Wade International Airport regarding a flight diversion to Bermuda for medical reasons. Virgin Atlantic flight #76 (departed Miami and bound for Manchester, U.K.) containing about 315 passengers landed safely in Bermuda as a result of a sick child on board the plane. The child was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where she is presently in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit. The remaining passengers were placed in local accommodations and they are expected to leave the island sometime today or tomorrow.
Reported Serious Collision in Devonshire - Around 2:45am on Wednesday, March 27th police and first responders attended a reported serious single vehicle collision on Middle Road in Devonshire between Orange Valley Road and Tee Street.
Details about how the collision occurred are unclear at this time. The vehicle involved, a white jeep, was found extensively damaged and a bus shelter in the area was also damaged.
Two Vehicle Collision - Around 2pm on Friday, March 22nd police and first responders attended a reported two vehicle collision at the junction of Court Street and Dundonald Street in Pembroke.
It appears that a motorcycle was being ridden along Court Street and a car was being driven along the same road when the vehicles collided at the junction. The motorcycle rider, a 27 year old Smith’s parish man, sustained relatively minor injuries to his legs. The car driver apparently drove away from the scene following the collision.
Four Arrested in Connection With Sandys Shooting - A female and three males all from Sandys parish have been arrested in connection with Tuesday night’s shooting of a 22 year old man in the Beacon Hill Road, Scott's Hill Road Sandys parish area.
At last check the victim was in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit of King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
The four suspects remain in police custody. Inquiries are ongoing with detectives examining evidence recovered from the scene and recording witness statements.
Arrests on Suspicion of Impaired Driving - Around 4am on Sunday, March 17th police officers on mobile patrol along South Road in Paget encountered a car being driven erratically through the area. The vehicle was caused to stop near the Botanical Gardens and the driver, a 22 year old Devonshire man, appeared to be intoxicated. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and detained. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.
Update: Reported Serious Collision in Devonshire - At last check the 31 year old Devonshire man seriously injured in a single vehicle motorcycle collision in the Parsons Lane, Devonshire area around 12:35am Friday, March 15th was in stable condition at the hospital.
The motorcycle involved was extensively damaged.

Western Community Action Team ‘Meet & Greet’ Well Attended - The officers of the Western Community Action Team (WCAT) would like to thank all area residents and members of the public that attended the Police Mobile Command Centre at Somerset Marketplace parking lot on Wednesday from 11am to 7pm.
During the day WCAT officers provided home security advice and other safety tips to residents while encouraging community feedback regarding neighbourhood concerns and potential solutions.
Burglary - Around 11:20pm on Tuesday, March 12th police officers responded to a reported burglary at a Camp Drive, Warwick residence.
It appears that four unknown men gained entry into the home and accosted the occupants before making good their escape on foot. During the incident one of the offenders brandished what appeared to be a firearm.
One of the occupants, a 31 year old man, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance where he was treated and later released.
Appeal Continues for Missing Juvenile Kianna Bremar [Located] - The Bermuda Police Service is continuing to appeal for the public’s assistance in locating 16 year old Kianna Bremar, described as slim with a brown complexion, 5’9” tall and weighing around 150 pounds.
She has straight black hair, usually worn in a ponytail and was last seen on Friday, March 8th 2013.
Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 16 year old Kianna Bremar is encouraged to contact the Vulnerable Persons Unit on 247-1678 or the main police number 295-0011.

The vehicle was caused to stop and the driver, a 46 year old Paget man, appeared to be intoxicated. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and detained. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.
