At 6:15 this morning, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Highwood Lane, Paget residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that around 6am they were awoken by noises in their bedroom. They then saw an unknown man at the foot of the bed. The culprit grabbed a red ladies bag and made good his escape.

At 8:40pm on Sunday, Police attended a reported handbag snatch from a St. George's guest property. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who are visitors to the island. They stated that earlier they were walking towards their accommodation when two young men approached from behind.

Injury RTC

At 6pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on North Shore Road in Devonshire near the junction with Tribe Lane involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the car was traveling east on North Shore Road and the motorcycle was traveling behind the car.

Industrial Accident

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 63 year old Oliver Thompson of St. George's. Mr. Thompson fell approximately 12 feet from a ladder to the ground at a Wellington Street, St. George's property sustaining head injuries around 7:25am on Wednesday. He was rushed to KEMH via ambulance and pronounced dead a short time later by an on call physician at the hospital.

At 7:25 this morning, Police received a report of an industrial accident at a Wellington Street, St. George's property. It appears that the victim, a 63 year old St. George's man, fell approximately 12 feet from a ladder to the ground, sustaining head injuries.

At 3:05pm on Monday, Police received a report of a breaking and entering at a Bluff Lane, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between Friday, March 3, 2006 and Thursday, March 9, 2006 an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while she was overseas.

On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime between 11:20am and 2:10pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home. The culprit stole a silver DVD player. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that she awoke around 5am and discovered that sometime earlier, an unknown culprit gained entry into her room. The culprit stole $76 in cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 10:50pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Dockyard Terrace, Sandy's parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 1:50pm and 10:15pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his room. The culprit stole 40 pounds in cash, a gold chain and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
